GWB: "Need some wood?"

One of my all-time favorites.

...wife of Crawdad

How funny, Crawdad, I just posted the "need some wood?"...right before I saw your post.

An honorable mention for me, also from Dubya (on the stump) was when he quoted Flurch Munster, when speaking about Yeeargh Dean, said "Those who doubt that the capture of...Hussein...has made America and the world safer...don't have what it takes to be president", (and then predictably flip-flopped and said the same thing), W said this:

"I couldn't agree more. Not so long ago, so did my opponent."

Honorable mention #2: VPOTUS Cheney at the GOP Convention, talking about Opie AmbalanceChaser's favorite phrase...

"John Kerry says that he sees 'two Americas'. That makes the feeling mutual. America sees two John Kerrys."

Honorable mention #3:

Much as I can't stand McRINO, he did give one of the great one-liners, when talking about the naysayers about the war:

"...and certainly not a disingenuous filmmaker (Michael Moore, who were both in attendance), who would have you believe..." It was so perfect, and so funny, the rest of the quote didn't matter.

Honorable mention #4:

"I have a certain swagger which, in Texas, they call 'walking'." -- President Bush, towards the end of his acceptance speech at the GOP.

Dishonorable mention:

"Uh...can I get me a huntin' license here?" --Lurch. Nuff said.

I could go on forever, but I just thought of another great one--VPOTUS, to the Breck Girl, at their debate:

--"Your local newspaper has taken to calling you 'Senator Gone'..."

--"I preside over the Senate every other Tuesday. The first time I met you, Senator, was here in this hall tonight."

Ouch.
