True. But then, Reagan was subject to that curse and he beat it. And Bush has already broken the J.Q. Adams Curse and the "Incumbent's-Party-Has-Its-Ass-Handed-to-It-in-the-First-Midterms" Curse. So, I'm not too worried.

This is old news. Astrologers have predicted since Bush was elected he would be assassinated. It is call the Tecumseh curse.

I had heard about the 'curse' and Reagan's surviving it, but had forgotten it's name/origin. I don't know if there's any truth to the curse, or it is simply self-fulfilling. Enough nuts out there to make it happen, just because they think they should. That would be the reason to give Bush extra security, to keep the nutjobs from making it seem as though the curse exists and trying something stupid.
