IF the "stingy" U.S. sends monetary aid via the U.N., those victims will be lucky to see one million of the 15 mil.
That remark, by Mr.Jan Egeland, under secretary-general for humanitarian affairs and emergency relief for the U.N., has caused my wallet to slam shut. I am sorry for these people, I am sorrier still that their "collective" spokesman considers the US to be "stingy".
I will pray, but not pay.
