I can't imagine being told that I can't have chocolate (or teddy bears!) any more. Although I am trying to prepare for the worst as my Dad and sister are both diabetic. :-(

But have they been diabetics for a long time? I don't know what causes it. :(

My Dad has been taking drugs for diabetes for about 12 years and my sister for about 6 or 7 years.

I have no idea what causes it to come on later in life, but I hope I take after my Mom and avoid it altogether.

Just got through having my nightcap of a small cup of M&Ms. :-)
