It will sell and money trumps heart.
And by tomorrow they will have figured out a way to blame the entire disaster on Bush.
Another frequently seen clip showed a pool overrun by a wave, with terrified sunbathers trying to run away.Anybody have a link?
Amazing walls of water are needed to be seen? How about we be sensible by saying that amazing walls of water than have washed away tens of thousands of people and crashing them against rocks or sufficating them to death are needed to be seen?
They're already blaming the US for not warning them.
That's coming! You'll see.
Of course you are right about the media, but every time I flip on Fox News, I am looking for that shot. Most of us are.
Why do you think so many people went to see movies like "Deep Impact" and "The Day After Tommorrow"? For the acting?
I'm more interested if "good" footage was caught. Nothing "sensational" for FoxNews Alerts, but footage that scientists and geologists can use to confirm or refute their data about tsunami's.
. . .and 'they' did not respond; which is to say 'what' I do not know. They did not see the message/hear the message or simply did not believe the message;or have time to respond. . .but apparently, there were those here. . .trying to contact 'those' there. . .whereever that is.
Actually all the video will be a help in getting people to take the threat of Tsunami in their local areas seriously. It's a visual world.
I'll admit I'd like to see a good video of the big one coming in.
"And you say all things obey me?" Canute asked.
"Absolutely!" they said. "The world bows before you, and gives you honor."
"I see," the king answered. "In that case, bring me my chair, and we will go down to the water."
"At once, your majesty!" They scrambled to carry his royal chair over the sands.
"Bring it closer to the sea," Canute called. "Put it right here, right at the water's edge... And someone go back and get the royal video camera!"
Hunt is on for dramatic tsunami pictures - PING.
So, it's best to ignore it?
Are you going to turn your head when they bring you these pictures?
This is their job.
Dang - I have been looking for that clip for someone on another thread. If anyone has it - a link would be nice.
Such images would have scientific value. While tsunamis can be computer modeled, some actual data would improve the process of modeling.
NO doubt! At what prices?
Seems like a golden opportunity for some photoshop whizkid to turn a buck.

Dan Rather IS still around for a little while longer...
