I don't trust ANY of these jokers -

Yuschenko, Yanukovich, just different sides of the same coin.

Both served in Kuchma's government.

One is a Soviet Putin dupe, the other is a far-left socialist who wants to join the EU. I don't see anything to be excited about in either case.

I don't see anything to be excited about in either case.

Democracy isn't glamorous. But freedom to choose one's own leaders is everything. Next week Yuschenko may turn out to be a failure. But Moscow didn't choose him, a majority of Ukranians (presumably) did. Once a body politic has chosen its leaders, it is obligated to help them succeed.
