Hey, I'm never one to pass up a free meal! ;-)
And, it would be a great time, no doubt about it!
Don't know when I'm gonna make it up that way, though, but I'll definitely keep it in mind...
Thanks!

Thank you for posting this article on the history of FR -- I must confess that even having been on the forum for nearly five years, I had never seen this particular post.
As a "kindred spirit", I can commiserate with Jim and his family re: difficulties in mobility, and commend him for not only dealing with them but excelling in spite of it.
God Bless JR and our Free Republic!

LOL, there was an antiFreeper that also went by Darth ??(something Vader I think) who went on to make an anti site. How dare someone defile the name "Darth"!
Are you talking about Darth Sidious? That's the only other one I remember.
To: dakine
I'm curious how he's structured today. Call it professional curiousity. I'm a corporate lawyer, and I see he's now an LLC.

I contributed to Thune the last time and he lost, I bet against him and he won, except for Allard and Bob Smith I have never won a bet on a Senatorial Election.
When you can make it you have a couple of Boston FReeper fans that want to attend.

Ah, I had forgotten. LOL...
Yeah, I thought Thune would beat Daschle from the day after the '02 election. Thank God it turned out to be the case. Other than the Bush win, it was the best win of the season, by far.
Who knows, maybe I can make arrangements to swing up that way after C-PAC in February...
Happy New Year, my friend!

If I can get the week off I am planning to attend CPAC, but then again I have been planning to attend CPAC for the last five years.
