That's why I am saying that this tragedy--occurring just at the peak of the Northern Hemisphere winter tourist season--could actually depress the world economy for some time. Many tourism companies could actually go out of business because
nobody will want to go to Indian Ocean resorts for the next few years until the tourist spots are rebuilt.
