The word "Biblical" was the first word that came to mind yesterday when this happened and as such I used it in my blog.
Im glad to see both Matt Drudge and The Washinton Post have now realized the magnitude of this catastrophic event.

After a few minutes, the water stopped rising, and I felt it was safe to swim to the shore. What I did not realize was that the floodwaters would recede as quickly and dramatically as they had risen. What the *&^% did you think was going to happen?!
