Know what? I wouldn't be surprised.

I am not of belief Hill is a foregone conclusion. IMO, people want a fresh face. I wouldn't be surprised if the Rep and Dem candidates are not among the listings we've seen so far. Wouldn't be surprised if they appear to have come from nowhere to suddenly dominate their own races.

Isn't to say she won't fight for the nomination, or that people like Hagel & McCain won't give it their best shot. Just my feeling that the American people have a certain shelf life for any individual before they get sick of them. Hill's biggest mistake was making herself too well known early in her husband's Presidency. She may only been a Senator for less than one term, but you have to add 8 years of Bill's presidency to the mix.

Beyond my dislike, I've just tired of hearing her name for well over a decade. My guts says the American people feel the same weariness and likely resent the air she is 'entitled to the throne" as it were.

Truth to tell, I think she's already passe. It's only the fawning media that thinks she's important anymore.

I think you're on to something. You'd think they'd gin up a popular Dem governor from somewhere. Too bad they don't have any.
