India is a secular nation with nearly as many Muslims as in Pakistan. & Lahore happens to be in Pakistan.
Not three years ago India and Pakistan were within hours of nuking each other. Islam has survived, unwanted, in India for hundreds of years, and Hindus and Muslims have been slaughtering each other for hundreds of years over it. Pakistan and Bangladesh exists because the Hindus drove the Muslims out of the Raj in 1948. Kashmir is claimed by both countries, and just to make things more exciting, the Sikhs want independence from both because they seem to believe they are better than the rest of India.
