Said Jan Dizard, an Amherst College professor and author of a book on hunters: "Women, particularly adult women, are much more thoughtful and considerate, and come into hunting with a much clearer ethical sensibility. I think that's one of the reasons why one sees a decline in the number of accidents. They report they're not as disappointed if they come home empty-handed. In a sense, there's not as much ego on the line as there appears to be with at least some men."

Amherst rivals Cambridge as the most politically correct locale in Massachusetts. Ya gotta love how liberals paint with a broad brush.

That's because men have an inate drive to hunt and/or provide the physical sustenance for his family. It's a God-given ability and desire to provide it. I respect women who hunt, but the basic drive IS different.

That's a FALSE 'rumor'
Any links on those rumors?
Yes, just a STUPID article for several reasons, none of which have anything to do with the appropriateness or ability of women to handle firearms.
1.) Published in the Boston Globe.
2.) Interviewed someone from Amherst, MA.
3.) Quote from the article: "Women, particularly adult women, are much more thoughtful and considerate, and come into hunting with a much clearer ethical sensibility". Don't you love it when a leftist dummy makes a blanket statement that is pure rubbish, and it is accepted by the publisher without even a notation.
Boy, I don't know about you MassRepublicanFan, it bites living in this state sometimes.
I think ESPN's Stuart Scott says it best with "Boo yeah!"
