Novak seems to have conceded the Washington governor's office to the dems , but if Rossi does lose, this is one delicious way to turn a political lemon into lemonade.....giving Bush one more senator for his last two years in office.

"Talking recently to a close associate, the former president compared Cahill with Karl Rove, President Bush's powerful political chief. "That's all you have to know," Clinton said. That's supposed to be a put down? The Dems can only wish that Cahill had been Rove!

ROSSI will be the GOVERNOR!!!!!.....and then he'll be the PRESIDENT.....mark my words! There is NO path from SENATOR to President......and I do NOT want Rossi as Senator.

The question is: Does Rossi have any shot as Gov. ? If not...
He makes a concession speech where he says ..." I wont put the state through a protracted legal fight...blah, blah, blah".
I think he then writes his own ticket as either senator or gov. when he wants to.
