Independence, United discuss feeder service

Independence Air, which has struggled since its launch six months ago as an independent low-fare carrier, has been asked by United Airlines to resume flying as a feeder for the larger airline. It is not known whether Independence would also continue as an independent carrier if it renewed its affiliation with United.

I'm not sure how good a business plan it is to affiliate with a company which is already in bankruptcy.
