Ah yes, the blizzard of '73. Four inches in Houston that year totally shut the city down. I kept a couple snowballs in a freezer for years. Along came hurricane Alicia in '83(?) which knocked out power for a week.....lost my snowballs!

"which knocked out power for a week.....lost my snowballs!" What a loss! ROFL. They were building snowmen on the beach in Galveston this morning, Not for sure but I think they got 6" or so.
