Of particular interest is that alleged conservatives are now the majority party. On the surface it appears WE POSSESS all the power needed to begin unravelling this mess. Tragic YES. Absolutely predictable though. The president has said he WOULD sign the 'assault weapons ban' if the congress sent it to him. That says a lot about the man. yeah I voted for him too.

This is indeed our most dangerous hour as conservatives. This kind of big brother sh@t is ongoing proof that we have ALREADY reached our 'event horizon'.
If President Bush were on the conservative and constitutional side of this issue, he WOULD sign an executive order to attack this policy in any and all forms and at every level, IMMEDIATELY.... and would instruct the A.G. and Solicitor General, to make defending the second amendment for EVERY American, our national TOP priority, until this issue is settled.
He won't. Because he, not-so-secretly agrees with some of the infringments that have been illegally imposed on ALL our rights.... as do many members of the republikan party and lunatic left. In texas, he suspended the gun rights of men who fell behind on their child support...
Get sick, injured and fall behind for any reason... they LOSE their supposed INALIENABLE RIGHTS as a gun owning texican.
It's laughable that we even think we have a chance with government officials like this communizing our beloved nation, EVERY DAMNED DAY OF THE YEAR. EVERY YEAR.
