Good read. Except the conclusion is incorrect. The reason Arab armies suck, is that they don't allow their women rights. Right to vote, right to drive, right to own property, or the RIGHT TO PRODUCE GOODS and SERVICES. Like avionics, computers, etc. How many patents come out of the Arab world? Or from WOMEN in the Arab world?

The Arab countries under utilizing their women have kept their societies (and armies) a few centuries behind the West. Come to think of it, with Islam and it's creed, maybe the tyrants of Arab society should keep their women oppressed.

How many patents come out of the Arab world?

I have a count for patent infringements out of the Arab world. But no counts for patents.

And to think, that culture gave us algebra. It's sad to see them fall so far.
