I am sure my V-Max can hit 200 mph, but I have never attempted to get above 150 on a smooth interstate strip in the Nevada desert (after surveying the strip I would ride beforehand). Maybe I would try 200 on the Utah salt flats, but never on a public roadway...

If you have a V-Max that will do 200 MPH, you've installed many thousands of $'s in hop-up parts. Mr Max just doesn't have the aerodynamics to punch a hole on the air to achieve that kind of speed.

Even with a jockey sized rider, the best one of those will do in stock factory form is 150 +/- a couple MPH.

Don't get me wrong. That's fast and Mr Max is a bad a$$ bike for the type of bike it is, but it's no competition at all for any of the sport bikes now days. The Max would have a hard time holding it's own against the newer 600 crotch rockets that are out.
