Yes Nancy, please explain to us how envirowhacko policies prevented a couple of million acres from burning to the ground over the last several years.

It's interesting how Pelosi equates the interest of the public with her political party, isn't it?
And the idiot just lost an election.

"was roundly and rightly criticized"I'm having difficulty trying to separate what are her quotes, from what the story writer is saying! The selected editorial comment above, is in a paragraph that starts off with quotation marks, but no closing quotation marks!!!
If this paragraph wasn't entirely a quote of Nancy P's, then it is extreme, vulgar bias on the part of the reporter and Yahoo News!!!

The self-styled scientists that "managed" the woodlands during the disastrous Klintoon admin, helped burn down hundreds of thousands of acres of pine forests in the West and we haven't forgotten. Only RATs and the Sierra Club forget their role in these fires. There's a sign placed by these idiots at the site of a huge forest fire on the North Rim of Grand Canyon that says that "forest fires are nature's way of cleansing forest brush and debris and making way for new growth." There are no more trees there for the envirowhacos to protect nor is new growth appearing. Perhaps if we wait two hundred years the trees might begin to grow again. Surely Pelosi will still be around to see them. As a vampire, she cannot taste death.

"
The Administration instead pushed ahead with its plans to reduce the role of scientists and the public in managing our national forests, and the environment will pay the price."The president IS responding to the public, Nancy. The so-called "scientists," with their no-cut policies stoked up some pretty devastating forest fires these last few years.
Nancy lives in a house made largely of wood just like the rest of us. She's just proving to be a mouthpiece for the environazis.
2PAC Pelosi.. Go chop wood.

And the extension of government ownership is what mainly distinguishes Socialism from other schemes for the improvement of man's lot in society: Socialists would nationalize productive property.
Into the hands of politicians and bureaucrats would come all titles to property; government would be the sole employer, and as the only employer, government would assign a task to each citizen and lay down the terms on which men would hold their jobs.
If this sounds like the army, it is because Socialism is in fact a militaristic organization of society. Socialism involves a command type of operation and, because "whosoever controls a man's subsistence controls the man," a socialist society becomes a minutely regulated bureaucratic tyranny. - Edmund A. Optiz, The Foundation for Economic Education, Inc.

The national forests belong to the American people, but these regulations were written with the special interests, not the public interest, in mind. Can we expect this philosopher to present a statement outlining what the public interest actually is? We are all supposed to know what special interest is, they must be teaching that in the public schools.

The regulations released by the Bush Administration today are an insult to every American who cares about our national forests. By greatly weakening critical protections, the regulations will increase the exploitation of our natural resources by private companies without ensuring the survival of the forests for future generations. After the San Bernardino fires, Nancy Pelosi and her dependent claque of green fascists pose the gravest single threat to forest health.

By greatly weakening critical protections, the regulations will increase the exploitation of our natural resources by private companies without ensuring the survival of the forests for future generations. By overregulating the national lands, Pelosi will take meat off of the tables of American hunters, increase the mortgage debt of American homeowners by increasing construction material expenses, and steal the paychecks of thousands of American timberworkers.
