The new leader of the ruling Fatah movement said the Palestinians want to replace Israel with a state of their own.
Fatah chief Farouk Khaddoumi said the Palestinian strategy toward Israel was two-fold. In the first stage, he said, the Palestinians would accept a Palestinian state alongside Israel. In the second stage, the Palestinians would seek to eliminate the Jewish state.
In November, Khaddoumi replaced the late Yasser Arafat as leader of Fatah, Middle East Newsline reported.
"At this stage there will be two states," Khaddoumi told Iran's Al Aram television. "Many years from now, there will be only one."
Khaddoumi, who regards himself as Palestinian foreign minister, said he was confident that Israel would be eliminated. He said he always opposed Israel's existence and cited the Arab numerical superiority over the Jewish state.
"[There are] 300 million Arabs, while Israel has only the sea behind it," Khaddoumi said.
Khaddoumi said his platform was endorsed by the PLO in 1974. He said the strategy called for a phased plan that would establish authority over any territory obtained from Israel, concluding with an Arab war to destroy the Jewish state.
[On Thursday, the Palestinian Authority launched the first municipal elections in the West Bank and Gaza Strip in more than 25 years. The PA has been promising such elections since 1996.]
The Fatah chief played down the powers of PA ministers. Khaddoumi said the Fatah Central Committee marked the source of authority for the PA and Cabinet.
"The Palestinian Authority is a partial authority," Khaddoumi said. "It is a local government, just like any local government in any country. We shouldn't delude ourselves that these 'ministers' are actually ministers."

Well , it's good to get this out of the way early. Understand the mindset of these refugee squaters - If they are accomodated in their goal for legitamcy it will be death to Israel. I say send their asses packin (a little donkey lingo there) back to where they came from.

one American or Israeli tank division is worth 15 times that 300 million Arabs. While there is a fighting tradition (somewhat), the Arabs of these modern times don't have the fortitude to stand up to what a modern armor division brings, much less what a mech infantry or Marine Division would bring to the table....

You're correct as long as the brass and politicians allow the grunts to use all equipment available and by any means possible. Political correctness is what is killing our guys in Iraq and the rest of the Middle East. It is somewhat less with the Israeli's but if their leadership stops being aware and vigilant in the quest for safety and protection, then all bets are off. 24/7 is what the Israeli's need now and probably forever (or until the threat from these ragheads is permanently elliminated.
Even just reading Revelations, this guy is going to be rocked back a bit by how things turn out, just before the end. It won't be good for anyone, especially for the Jews (in a real sense). But they're not going to be 'in the sea', either. St. John records that Israel WILL convert to Catholicism after anti-Christ is physically bounced into hell by the archangel. But it will take that much. But again, they won't be 'in the sea' in the years prior to that. And the 'ruler' of the world will sit in the Temple, as the Jewish 'Messiah'. One can easily see why so many wish that were a misreading of secret imagery, or that St. John, who stood at the foot of the Cross, was delusional, at worst.
I would diasgree about some of the points you mentioned, however I believe that as long as we keep God's rools and laws, our enemies will be those who are kicked into the sea.
Besides, I'm sure such an army would provide Isreal with a very welcome excuse to just let loose and kick the bejeezus out of the Pallies.

Now Israelis intend to make parts of Eretz Yisrael Judenrein!
And if pallie terrorists even moderately behave themselves they will get their own state, carved out of Eretz Yisrael (G-d forbid).
The massive infusion of tens of millions of dollars in "aid" to the pallies has already begun.
