SEATTLE (AP) - Democrat Christine Gregoire has won the Washington governor's race by 130 votes over Republican Dino Rossi, according to final recount results from King County.

King County was the last county to report in the statewide hand recount, the third count of ballots in the governor's election. The election results have not been certified and probably will be challenged in court.

It's fascinating to see the 'rat vote fraud machine in action. Rossi was ahead by most the first count, then ahead by less the second count, then behind by 10, and now behind by 130. You can see more 'rat ballots being "discovered" each round.

And some stupid fools believe this is the way it is?? the truth?? NO, NOBODY believes the the stupid dem won, she is trying to steal the election, just like in the Ukraine, was the Mr. Repubican poisoned as well? Got any pimples yet? Look to the dems to find poison, just like the communists, which the dems really are, just won't admit it yet.

If the State Supreme Court ruled the ballots were rejected, how can they, the dems, over ride their court and say they are valid?

You got me, I dont' know, did they say that the votes were valid???

actually it very well could be that way...it all depends on what is responsible for the machine errors in counting ballots..before you say that this result is not possible..you have to do a detailed study of why vote counts change as you recount them. For example if it's due to voter error..then perhaps urban areas have less poll workers to instruct voters how to properly fill out the ballots..thats just one possibility..really with out knowing the gritty details..your nor me are qualified to say if its plausible or unplausible to think the votes would change like this..but I would note...there were republican observers...I don't hear them shouting fraud.

The State Supreme Court ruled unanimously that King county
should include those ballots.

Good Post kenny b, you are correct, the dems need to know how many votes they have before they elect to get a recount. Stupid fools.

And, of course, word of this Democrat "triumph" breaks at 10:00 p.m. ET on the day before Christmas Eve and one of the busiest travel days of the year when most people aren't paying a whole lot of attention. How conveeeeeenient.....

An election stolen in the dead of night as it were...

Thanks for your kind thoughts. It was depressing me, most of the day - but tonight I was reading Nativity-related Holy Scripture to my kids and they were jumping ahead almost quoting exactly, even my youngest - so now I am ok with the sad things in this world. :-)

THIS ELECTION WAS NOT STOLEN...AND AS FAR AS I CAN TELL NO ONE HAS OFFERED EVIDENCE TO THE CONTRARY.

You people pulled this exact same stunt here in the 8th congressional district of Indiana about 20 years ago. Tip O'Neil was still running the House like a personal fiefdom, and he simply held "recount" after "recount" until the Democrat, Frank McCloskey magically found enough "votes" to win.

Do you remember that?

Would you like to hear how things turned out, then?

Military contracts should leave WA. If the military is not represented, then all of the military money should be withheld and given to other states. Defund Washington's liberals.

http://access.wa.gov/news/2004/Jul/n2004627_6689.aspx

The state of Washington hosts several major military bases and significant installations of all branches of the military. Pierce County is the home of McChord Air Force Base and an Army base, Ft. Lewis. Kitsap County is home to Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, Naval Base Kitsap and the Keyport Undersea Warfare Research Station. Island County is the location of Naval Air Station Whidbey, and Snohomish County hosts the Everett Navy Base. Spokane County is the location of Fairchild Air Force Base. Yakima County is home to a training facility that is organizationally part of Ft. Lewis. In addition to these major facilities, there are more than 100 smaller facilities including hospitals, camps, depots, signal stations and recruiting offices.

I thought of you too, because my son Ben, age 13, was awesome. When I was reading about the angel saying "Be not afraid", I remembered our conversation and asked the kids why they thought the angel would say that. And Ben popped right out with the quotes from liturgy, word-for-word, and said he thought that would be scary to see.

'Course he did serve for some 6 or so years, so I guess he does know the liturgy pretty well.

But wow, the day when your child overtakes you on this stuff is a day to celebrate.

And they have no idea how joyful of an evening it was for me to see them so knowledgeable.

thats an interesting debate tactic...rather than debate the merits of the Washington election(which I am informed on)...
you chose to deflect the debate to something that happened 20 years ago, which quite frankly I know nothing about..so I do not know if it has any relevant similarity.

However recounts are part of the process of elections...you should not take issue with recounts..what you should take issue with...is why is the election process so screwed up that we can not get the count correct the first time?

Just the facts.

1) re-counts are a normal procedure of any close election.

2) the 760 ballots found were most definetly not fraudulent..they identified the individual citizen for each ballot..to not count those ballots would be the like saying the county making a clerical error is ok..and its ok to disenfranchise people.

3) Rossi lost even if you don't include those extra ballots.

4) The Democrats are ALL for election reform...before you people start screaming fraud get behind election reform.

5) Is there one piece of hard evidence there was any fraud in Washington? I haven't seen any.
