consider this what you request is an amendment to current accept norms of today society. You are asking to change the Norms based on sexual preference. You create the proverbial slippery slope with that. You say that it would not have adverse effects on society, I say it does.
When you allow a change based on preferece where does it stop? pologomy, beastiality... etc...
This has nothing to do with religon or Gods law... although I do belive that those should have some impact on society. But what you ask is like ask us to allow people to murder becuase they want to.
What you do in your own house is your issue. The rest of society doesn't need to privy to it or exposed to it.

It's all about a natural tendency for most of us "normals" to look at such behavior as morally repugnant and generally useless to the preservation of homo sapiens as a species.
From a secular standpoint it is unnatural to go anal. It does no benefit to the species but gratifies perverse, selfish urges. The disease rate is astronomical. The suicide rate is astronomical. The rate of INCEST/RAPE is astronomical.
From a disease standpoint: The two holes that possess extreme volumes of nasty bacterial and viral flora are the mouth and the anal canal. The rate of STDs among homosexuals and lesbians are unusual in content and volume around the mouth, throat, and anus region, with unusually high probability of disease in all areas with bi-sexual women.
Finally, homosexuals and lesbians CANNOT REPRODUCE. THEY RECRUIT. Which is the sole reason why the radical homosexual agenda seeks to undermine the family and societal agencies that allow interaction between adults and children (Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, religion, schools) without protection. They vigorously seek to overturn age of consent and sodomy laws. They also seek to destroy the idea of involuntary sex (rape for those in Rio Linda).

Reality: Private behavior often has very public consequences. Statistics clearly show that homosexual behavior is destructive and bears high costs, not only to the individual, but to society. Homosexual behavior has implications far beyond the bedroom. Last year the U.S. government spent billions of dollars on AIDS treatment, research and programs. AIDS in the U.S. is largely a homosexual disease stemming from unhealthy sexual practices. There are many consensual behaviors that current laws and customs have deemed harmful because of their negative effect on society. Drug use, prostitution, rape and incest are examples of activities that happen in the "privacy of bedrooms."
The U.S. Supreme Court ruling (Lawrence v. Texas) decriminalizing homosexual sex has opened the door for children to be taught in public schools that homosexual sodomy is normal, healthy and the equivalent of marital sex. California has already established programs to accomplish the above. Now that homosexual sex is legal it is coming out of the bedroom and into the classroom. See Fast Facts #1-23, 35-40, 107-113

A free society would be one where the government does not promote homosexual activity, but is neutral about it, and allows members of society to retain their own moral and religious beliefs about this complex issue of homosexual activity, about which people have a right to hold differing opinions.
Libertarians are out in force with ernie.cal: Legalize all forms of prostitution, no age of consent laws, polygamy, bestiality, and oh yeah, legal drugs to kill the pain for those seeking relief from the libertarian utopian visions. Get the government off our backs--so to speak! Say no to government coersion and yes to homosexual coersion, especially of children, puppies, and gerbils.
Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't recall James Madison and all writing one line, much less volumes, on the subject of homo-erotica in the Federalist Papers. But the Constitution is a living document, meant to change with society and the times (I said with thick sarcasm and irony for the apparent libertarian dilemma toward the living document argument).
Humanity and decency, neither of which you understand
Regardless of current heterosexual marriage trends, with all its imperfections, it is still the healthiest union for children. To cheapen, or water down, the current marriage partnering with any combination besides man/woman unions will precipitate more gender identity, incestuous, bestial, polygymous, pedophiliac behaviors and abuses.
It's abnormal for two male sexual organs or two female sexual organs to try and mate. The human body is made for male/female reproduction only. Anything outside of that isn't a natural pairing and does not deserve the support of legitimacy. Is that too hard to understand?
What do broken windows and empty building due to a neighborhood? They don’t hurt anyone.
I think it is amazing that the left screams for acceptance of multiculturism, yet denies the culture of the American People, our history, our symbols, and our holidays.
Besides it’s a fake argument that gays are discriminated against. No one ask you to prove your heterosexual in order to get a marriage license. Society has established rules. You can’t marry someone too young, you can’t marry a close family member, and you can’t merry the same sex. It does not say homo’s can’t get married, just not to someone of the same sex. So where is the discrimination?
