With special thanks to FReeper Texcat, who always keeps up with the latest in Fallujah, I ran across this picture the other day, and I do not recognise the rocket being used.
This is an image of an AT4 rocket, a shoulder launch, line of sight rocket for US infantry.
I saw something about there being a new AT5, but the sighting mechnisism was nothing like this one.
Can anyone help?

Not too sure, looks like the modern day bazooka.
I like this one better though--it is called the MPIM/SRAW.

Re:
I want to say a Stinger I thought that at first also, but
1) There are no enemy air threats in Iraq
2) That back end of this thing is clearly an AT4 rocket tube.
Also, the stinger has these 2 sheet-metal-things that pop up in your line of sight.

Shoulder-Launched Multipurpose Assault Weapon Since the "assault weapon" ban expired, does that mean I can get one for Christmas?

Yep. The no air threat thing was the clincher. I thought the shadow in the middle might have been the seeker-head-coolant thingamabob(real technical huh?). Granted, Discovery/History Channel viewing hardly makes me an expert. Just an enthusiast. Formula: Goes "BOOM" or flings lead, SirL likes it.
