That is very interesting. I don't much care for bananas and will hardly ever eat em (twice a year is a lot). The last couple times I felt like I was choking on em and tossed them without finishing. It never occurred to me I might have an allergy. Hmm.. I know latex makes me break out something awful.
If you get a chance, you might want to google latex-banana allergies...it's eye-opening.
One of the things that you might want to talk to your doctor about. Allergies like these can become more serious as minor exposures take place, even if you don't notice the reaction much at the time, can occasionally lead to anaphylaxis.
