I believe it too. I was buying a new PowerBook on the day after Thanksgiving in L.A. The Apple store was jammed. My purchase was in the thousands ... but the guy in front of me was buying several 60 gig photo iPods ... and the one in front of him was buying 6 iPod Minis in various colors.

Last week I went back and decided on a 20 gig iPod and the mind-blowing Bose Sound Dock. Simply amazing!
