I know!!!!
I just despise such broadbrush comments. My name is hypenated, not as some kind of feminist statement, but because I made a mistake. When the judge handed me the pen and said "sign here" I did.......and then realized I had signed it the same way I had been signing my name for 37 years and had to add my new last name. Legally my name is hyphenated, but I never use it that way, except filing tax returns.
School is out here as well - so we'll keep each other's kids in our prayers!!!
Why that's kinda silly and endearing...
You are not a "hyphenated-american" and don't deserve a beating....
The rest of them do. I've never, in my life, met a hyphenated-woman I didn't want to beat.
And that goes double for my ex's divorce lawyer!
I know how you feel; indeed you know all too well!
