A recall doesn't help Rossi (the Lt. Governor, a Democrat would take over). But, a recall must still be carried out to show Gregoire that the voters will not tolerate a stolen election.

If Gov. Gregoire were successfully recalled, Lt. Gov. Brad Owen, a Democrat, would replace her. Gov. Owen would then appoint a replacement lieutenant governor who would be up before the voters in the next general election for a contest to finish his term.

If Gregoire wins, there is no mechanism through which Rossi could become governor.

This is it.

NO, you're not the laughing stock of the nation. This stuff
makes me fear for all elections everywhere. We have sat here and watched it happen and we see how far up in government the FRAUD is supported. This is damn scary. And, right before our eyes!! That's the worst of it.

This is the kind of stuff you expect to see on the news that is happening in other countries. Then you sit back with quiet pride because we don't have those kind of people in control.

But we do.

King, Pierce, and Snohomish counties have been running the state for years. As previously noted, it wouldn't matter if Rossi won anyway. The dems control both houses, and the repubs act like watered down versions of the dems.
You'd think the liberals would figure out why Washington's economy is the first to tank, and the last to recover whenever the national economy sours.
As far as my vote not counting, I've known that for 30 years. I'm a conservative. End of story.

That's about as disgusting as it gets. Losers who vote 5 or 6 times, all their votes have to count, but our troops in harms way get no say what-so-ever.

Kirby Wilber of KVI570 said this morning that the GOP had 500+ Rossi votes that were rejected for similar reasons, and that they would fight to include those as well.

I think he should contest and make the biggest national stink that he can.

The mood of the country is swinging red right now, and this will further the trend against the democrats.

That is incredible - even by WA standards.

Maybe by WA standards, but not by Dem standards (if you can call them standards).

I believe Queen Gregoire is an appropriate term since Governors are elected. King County is going to crown her the winner. This is a coronation, not a democratic process.

Queen of King County

The Seattle Times: Bush's state headquarters for re-election burglarized

The Washington state headquarters for the president's re-election campaign was broken into last night, and police are investigating the theft of three computers from the Bellevue office.

Missing are laptop computers used by the campaign's executive director, the head of the get-out-the-vote effort and one that had been set for delivery to the campaign's Southwest Washington field director, said Jon Seaton, executive director of the state's George W. Bush campaign.

Seaton said data on the computers was backed up and available elsewhere. But, he said, the loss creates a potential security breach about the campaign's so-called 72-hour plan, the Bush get-out-the-vote effort.

"Obviously there's some stuff there we wouldn't want our opposition getting their hands on," Seaton said.

So, what's the margin in Ohio for Bush? 119,000

Margin in Washington gubernatorial? 8 (after 3 counts)

They want to contest Ohio and declare victory in Washington.

This is it.

Yep. But instead of blaming the lying cheating dems, who were a given from the beginning, I'm blaming myself and other WA Repubs for not working harder to get people to the polls. And that especially includes freepers. If every freeper in WA had personally loaded up his/her car with handicapped/senior/disinterested Repubs and driven them to polling places, we would have won this thing.

King County runs this state

I've noticed whenever the "COPS" TV show has clips from Washington, it's ALWAYS in King County! As a matter of fact, it seems like ALL of the "COPS" shows are in DemoRat controlled Counties/Cities!!

Hmmm... Wonder if there's any correlation there!
