The Supreme Court of Washington has decided that over 700 disputed King County ballots should be included in recount for Washington governor.
Appeal, anyone?
With all due respect please stay out of Washington States business, I don't meddle in your local elections so please stay out of ours.
One day you social engineering, big government types will learn to respect states rights.

Signed up about two weeks ago. Paul Berendt? Is that you!
I listened to some of the hearing and had a bad feeling given the types of questions that the justices were asking. Given that some justices are, at best, described as moderate (code word for liberal), this was the outcome one had to predict anyway.
I believe she was interviewed on KVI570. Several of my coworkers heard the same. Also, there is the write in for Christine Rossi that counted to Greguatever.
Before Bush v. Gore we were told that the judicial branch was generally reluctant to insert themselves in the electoral process, that seems like a very long time ago huh?
Will Rossi "contest" the result? Isn't that the usual next step?

Wow. I've been called a lot of things but as a small-government, anti-social-Darwinism, States-Rights advocate myself you've got THAT all wrong.... This ISN'T a local issue any more, this is the national DNC, puppet of the UN and the world Marxists. Hope you are clear on that....Merry Christmas!
You haven't been paying attention to this race have you?
its still worth taking it to the federal courts - even if we lose. and the WA republican party should start running some radion & TV ads to spell out to the people exactly what has happened.
So then finding ballots no less than 8 times isn't suspect?
Even if a person is homeless if they are a citizen they are entitled to vote. If an election board official certifies they have no other address then it is ok to have them use the hq--what else should they do?
Can't we all just move on....
I'm assuming you don't live there. (I do.)
Let's have a little mercy on the Republicans / conservatives who live among the libs, as God was willing to show it toward Abraham's relative, Lot. God was going to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah for their gross wickedness that had risen to heaven. Abraham went through a progressive countdown, asking the Lord if He would destroy Sodom if 50 righteous peole (believers in Abraham's God) could be found. God said no, not for 50. Abraham gathered his courage and asked, Would God destroy the whole city if 40 righteous were there? No, He would spare the whole city if 40 righteous people could be found. On down the line till they reached 10. God said He would not destroy the city if 10 righteous people could be found.
Unfortunately for Sodom and Gomorrah, there weren't even ten left, so Lot and his family had to leave and you probably know the rest. (Genesis 18:20 through Genesis 19:29)
It's better for those who know the right way to run elections to keep working to change this to a better situation than to abandon this place to its corruption.
Excellent points and worth reprising.

Can you imagine Rod McKenna's workday life if Gregoire steals this? She was the AG. Then, while the chief law officer of the state, she steals the governor's chair, and has spent three terms corrupting the AG's office. Imagine being a man of integrity sandwiched between Gregoire as governor and her assistant attorneys general and the atmosphere she's created in the AG's office.
Note to self: Pray for McKenna!
I understand where you are going with this... but didn't Lot and his family get corrupted by living in that city? Didn't he get drunk and father his own grandchildren? (I know the bible places all the owness of that one on his daughters, but come on...)
