Chris Storc and I would, of course, like you to purchase THE BALLAD OF MIKE MORAN, but for Christmas there is a free download for you.
For new FReepers who don't know the story, we lost a beloved FReeper on 9-11 --- BCM, Batallion Commander John Moran. His brother Mike became a FReeper. Mike told Osama bin Laden before a worldwide television audience that he could "kiss my royal Irish *ss."
I wrote the original version and Chris Storc saw it on FR. He contacted me, we did a re-write, and he got it produced. It has been played around the world and is the favorite of a few Monsignors in Chicago and New York. The priest at my church, Irish by birth, thoroughly enjoyed his copy.
I hope those who haven't heard it will enjoy it. By the way, impeachment counsel David Schippers has a nice framed picture of the avenging angel on his office wall.
THE BALLAD OF MIKE MORAN (aka The Fireman Song). Click on "Music" to download, then choose LoFi or HiFi.

To Doug and Chris, thank you for your music.
My most sincere thanks to those of you in combat for your service to our country. My most sincere thanks to your brothers and sisters in arms, those in military service around the planet, those who have served in times past. A special thanks also to our Police, Fire-Rescue and EMS personnel here at home. What can be said to those who paid the ultimate price for our freedom?. Thank you, of course, but I want to say more and right now words are failing me. You are True Heroes, all.
