Firefox is the BEST! The extensions are great. Even if you want to use IE as a backup, download the "IE view" extension and fire it up when needed. I almost never use IE anymore. This because of IE being a magnet for malware, security exploits, adware, lack of effective built-in-popup blocking mechanism, and it being a resource hog.
Firefox is lightweight, highly configurable, and most of all subject to peer code review.
