It gets so confusing, even for us older Christians. It's better to pray and let the Holy Spirit reveal what He wants to reveal and trust God for the rest. Most of this stuff isn't really all that important in the scheme of things. He's concerned with our hearts, with our salvation and with our service to others and our obedience. He'll take care of the rest. It's fun to have an opinion but we have to be careful that our opinion isn't coming against scripture.

It is still our task as our Lord says to "Search the Scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life; and they are they which testify of Me." We need to be able to recognize the false teachers and the only way to know them is to know the truth of God's Word. No matter how old or how learned we become we never know all of the Scriptures. There is always more to learn.
