We should all take best to see when Terry McAluff calls it a Mandate.
a change in the counted total, is not the same as the addition of new ballots. when there is a stack of rejected ballots, and the canvassing board goes over and says "let's now count 320 of these", that's not the same as the recount of the original stack of ballots differing from the election night total by 320.
let's find out what is going on before we cast judgement.
SUE!
Now, Gabz. Is it feckenshtien? :)
>>I think it's going to take a recall.>>
OK, an awful lot of people owe me $50 each. I put my money on Gregoire stealing the election weeks ago. Pay up!
Who among us thought Gregoire was acting in good faith? Me either.
"a change in the counted total, is not the same as the addition of new ballots...let's find out what is going on before we cast judgement"
What I'm saying is that criminal activity thrives in an environment of anarchy.
And the statewide recount process got totally out of control. Vote totals for Rossi AND Gregoire increasing by hundreds of votes.
Eight votes?!
So the Rats finally found enough votes to win?
I want a recount, for cryin' out loud!
It's the homestretch for King County elections officials

SEATTLE - On Tuesday afternoon, under the watchful eyes of Republican and Democrat attorneys, the canvassing board eyeballed the final 300-plus valid ballots that machines could not read in the previous counts.
These ballots are not contested, but more than 700 others are...

"Let's call it the Winter Solstice Coincidence instead."
How about the RamaHanuKwanzmas Coincidence like Glenn Beck used on his web site.
Berendt and Democratic party officials reached the conclusion after crunching numbers supplied by King County, and adding in the 320 ballots that were considered during Tuesday's canvassing board meeting. King County has finished tallying its 900,000 ballots, but election officials said they still need to reconcile differences in the precinct totals.
Well of course you silly thing .. it favors the Dems
all recounts change the vote total - look at Ohio. that's different then adding in votes from the disqualified pile (or a box someone found in the trunk of a car. you get the idea).
I figured you had something like that in your arsenal already. Thought I'd make a suggestion.
That works!!!!!!!!!!
I'm still reading, in between wrapping teacher Christmas presents for the morning!
Well, I guess the third time is the charm, the Democrats finally "interpreted" enough ballots to give the "win" to their candidate.
Democrats: King County recount puts Gregoire on top

"The county has finished tallying its 900,000 ballots, but election officials said they still need to reconcile differences in the precinct totals.
"We are not releasing our results until tomorrow at 3:30 p.m.," said King County Elections spokeswoman Bobbie Egan, who confirmed that both parties received the recount data Tuesday.
Rossi spokeswoman Mary Lane said Republicans are looking at the data also but had not drawn any conclusions. "It's just too close to call," she said. "
It may make a good song, but I was also going to look for other MIDIs for it.
Or you could use the word in "A Christmas Story." The one where the father can't think of a word to say and says, "Madafina."
Have a good night, young lady. Don't wrap too many Winter Solstice presents. :)
