Skyline is in the Louisville area, too.
Ya know, in some places they call 'em "divans."
Growing up in NE Texas, we called them "cold drinks". Still do.
Merry Christmas!
For readers who don't know, a pony keg is what Cincinnatians call a convenience store.
Skyline serves Cincinnati chili, which is an acquired taste.
A "briar" is what Cincinnatians call someone from Kentucky.
I may have overlooked it, but there is another name for pop.
A northerner here, grew up calling it pop..transplanted to New Orleans and every local I have met here call it ' Cold drink '.
Took me a good bit to get used to it.
I live at the very bottom of Texas, touching the water, and I’ve never heard ‘fizz’ or anything like that. Here I’ve heard it called soda. People only say coke when they want the brand Coke (which is often).
I live in at the very south of Texas and have never heard ‘singles’. Its ones.
Really? La coca? I live in Texas too. You must be closer to the border.
In Texas, when you ask for Coke, they ask “What kind?”
Usually it’s Dr. Pepper
It comes out more like “Coldrink”
Because Root Beer is not a cola- or something, I guess. *shrug*
