I have a pretty good idea of what is happening. Some time ago Target was the victim of an urban rumor ( see snopes.com) that they did not support veterans groups. In that rumor Target's statement about the charities they support was changed by the person starting the rumor. A line was added saying that this support included Gay and Lesbian causes. I think Rainbow Law saw this and assumed it was truth and is using that as the basis for their claim that Target banned Salvation Army because the SA discriminated against GLBTCWHOGIVESADAMN peoples. Target deserves to be given the benefit of the doubt. They are active in community charities and they are a big time supporter of St. Judes Children's Hospital. A hospital that gets my prolife support because they do not engage in embryonic stem cell research. So consider the source when reading internet information. Thanks.

Well your theory sounds more realistic and reasonable than the article that started this thread. Don't you just love snopes?

Target banned the SA. It is no urban legend. You can call up customer service and hear their lame explanation if you want.
