The best defense is a good offense, especially when it comes to PR. They have linked the terms "right wing" and "fascism" in many peoples' mind providing the left with adequate cover while they go about their own totalitarian agenda.

The Brownshirts for Kerry were genuine this election cycle, throwing bricks through windows, spray painting swastikas on signs and homes, torching campaign signs, slashing tires on election day, cutting power to GOP offices on election day...

But the lesson is that they despite their best brownshirt tactics it still wasn't enough.

One difference between us "red stater Americans" and the mass of Germans in the 1930's is that we don't intimidate very easily. And should it ever come down to it, most veterans, servicemen, and cops not to mention hill-billies and rednecks are Republicans.

I think all things considered we show remarkable restraint.
