I never said I was not happy that they were released. I am happy anytime people are spared from death. I have been Thinking freely all 54 years of my life, and I don't need a lecture from you on humanity. You really should try to control your feelings better. It was a snide comment, having to do with the general thought of the French not bathing very regularly. Please accept my apology if this observation disturbed you.
"I never said I was not happy that they were released."
True. You didn't put it in those terms. But, to say: "Probably stink [the hostages, that is] to much for even the terrorists to keep them around..." is equivalent to being disappointed, unhappy about their release.
There is an enemy out there intent on destroying America and Western culture. Those hostages are not our enemies and neither is Italy, Poland, Rumania, Britain and all other European countries that are pro-America. It's true that France, Germany, Belgium and the Russians did not support us in this war, but that does not mean that they're our mortal enemy. To ridicule and demean the whole is to ridicule and demean our conservative friends in Europe. To do so, is to isolate ourselves and inflict wounds upon ourselves and accelerate the extinction of our culture and heritage to the merriment of the enemy.
Have a Merry Christmas and a healthy New Year.
