Suing is not a good way to achieve insurance reform.

The reserve money is made up of years of individual premiums. Grabbing the money and putting it in the pockets of one lawyer and one plaintiff means no more money is left for the other policy holders when they need valid payouts.

Insurance is state regulated. The state's Insurance Commission and legislature can better effect change with complaint processes and hearings on law changes.

These insurance horror stories you see in the press are often plants from law firms massaging public opinion so when juries are picked, they are anti- insurance company. The stories don't include the other side and omit valid defenses.

Not so sure about that.

I deal with insurance companies all day long (oil business).

Had blow out insurance. Had a blow out. They didn't pay. We sued, won our contract claims and had to sue again for "bad faith." Intra-company emails basically admitted that they were going to deny coverage in order to get leverage to pay only a portion of the claim.

My experience is typical.

Same idea with health claims.

Regarding looking for the governement with help --- come on, you're a conservative. You know better.
