This was a forward base with a mix of Iraqi forces and U.S. (some contractors). We can't trust the Iraqi forces yet. They have too many spies and Sadaamites in their midst.
I would bet a suicide bomber got in there.

It doesn't have to be a suicide bomber(but could be)...when my hubby was in Iraq they caught an Iraqi worker pacing off the camp....

I think it was an inside job too. Iraqis or their families should they blow themselves up, get paid for killing Americans. Remember how Atta and company kept a low profile and were friendly while they were in Florida learning to fly planes into buildings.
It's the same over there. It makes me shudder and why can't we stop mixing Iraqis with our forces on our bases for now? Must we rely upon them or are they allowed near our troops as a politically correct gesture??? Is that possible?
