No, only at Thanksgiving. We had a honeybaked ham with potato salad, mac and cheese, sweet potato souffle, cream corn, and my mom made a delicious bread pudding that had bourbon in the icing that was out of this world. Also had pecan pie and other assorted desserts.
It was alot of work and am glad to have it behind me.
Saw earlier where you'll be getting out the fine china. Whenever I have more than 8 people over to eat, everyone gets served with throwaway plastic cups and plates. I do use the Christmasy looking ones. :)
Yummmm! Sounds good, and it's making me hungry - it IS almost lunch time! LOL. I'm not usually one to go for bread pudding, but maybe that bourbon icing would make me a believer. :) Saw earlier where you'll be getting out the fine china. Christmas is one of the few times we've always "gotten out the good stuff" - we even put on our good clothes instead of jeans. :) My dining table only seats 10 comfortably, and sometimes we overflow into the family room, but still it's fun to do a pretty table in there, too.
