:adjusting my tinfoil hat: Yes I do believe that information is being witheld from the average citizen with respect to UFOs. I used to read an African science fiction forum about UFOs and crop circles. Some of it was just South African military craft but a lot have yet to be determined. American media is a bit myopic when coming to international news as well.
Some of the pictures the shop owner had were one heckuva lot better than anything I have ever seen on Google or in any magazine. Maybe 300 or 400 feet. He described the distance to me by pointing at another shop in the mall.
His wife said many people were on their knees praying and were quite frightened where others were standing, unfluttered by the craft.
She had nightmares for a few weeks and was very happy the grand kids weren't with them. LOL
Oh, forgot one interesting part. This thing would fade in and out when making elevation changes as though the movement had some effect on the air around it. I didn't quite understand what he meant by fading in and out. I'm presuming that if it changed the vertical flight path by 100 feet or so it was maybe 'instantaneous'.
American media is almost blind about International news unless it serves some selfish interest or puppet master interest.
It is a bit distressing how little international news makes it onto American television screens.
