I've had surgery 3 times for joint disease. Arthorscopic to repair a tear on right shoulder, full-blown rotator cuff complete repair (um, basketball injury when I was 40), and then laminectomy to totally fuse S3-S2-S1-L1 in 2000. I live on painkillers. Unless you've lived constantly with pain like these, then please give us some sympathy and understanding. Aspirin *may* work OK for you. Great. I'm happy for you. But there are many of us for whom stronger pain relief is a necessity to keep the pain demons away.
I injured my shoulder several months ago and since I don't trust doctors I live with the pain. By accident, I found 1 gram of Ester C taken at onset of pain works wonders. I have to do this several times a day but it works. There's no bad side effects with Vit C and it works for this problem. Do a google on Vitamin C and pain. There's lots of info.

And I am sympathetic to the plight you share with many. A couple years ago I had to use some of the really strong stuff related to what Rush was using. Those things work. They also scare me. During that time I had to use the one with the Tylenol boost because the one with the aspirin boost caused severe tinitus.
