Here's the question:

How many people in Indianapolis will benefit from the stadium and convention center expansion?

Here's another:

Pittsburgh did the same thing. Two stadiums and a convention center. The city is on the verge of bankruptcy every other news cycle. Why would you repeat the same mistake?

Two - Irsay and Peterson. Ok, maybe 3 - the head of the convention center may benefit, too.

As a resident of Central Indiana, I'll put in my 2 cents and say that I am very dissapointed that the City of Indianapolis wants to finance this thing with gambling. One of the horsetracks is in my town and there is NEVER anyone there! The thing is bankrupt. Now they think slot machines can make them $500 million?. Peterson is very proud that he is doing this without "raising taxes". But state sponsered gambling is nothing but a voluntary tax, often paid by people who are sacrificing food for their families in hopes of hitting it big. I really hope Gov-elect Daniels can do something about this.
