I don't like to post and run but I have to leave and will be back in a couple of hours to answer any questions I can.
Remember Matt and his family during the Christmas season and always.
He belongs to all of us.

I live in Clermont County, and I have never seen anything like the outpouring of love and patriotism that has stemmed from Matt Maupin's capture/disappearance. Mr. and Mrs. Maupin are unwavering in their perseverance for Matt's and our soldiers' cause. I admire them greatly and pray everyday for Matt's safe return.
Thank you, Graybeard, for remembering Matt.
I watched nearly all of President Bush's press conference this morning and did not hear him say, "We're doing all we can to find Matt Maupin." Did I miss it?
Tearful prayers for this family.
Thank you for keeping Matt on our minds, Graybeard.
Prayers for his return. His family must be in agony waiting for the call, and I pray they soon can find some peace.

This makes me cry. I am picking up my son from Camp Pendleton on Wednesday. He will get to spend Christmas with us. After that, we don't know. May God bless these wonderful young men and women who protect all of us.
In footage that was not aired, the tape showed the man being shot in the back of the head.
Anyone who still believes the tripe about the fair and humane treatment given to terrorist prisoners is aimed at assuring our people are treated the same should be disabused of this quaint notion by now.
Thanks for the ping and the reminder.
Bump.
I live in Batavia and have 2 large yellow ribbons on my trees hopeing for a safe return.
Thank you both for your son's service, please tell them how appreciated they are and that I pray for them every day. God bless you all and have a Merry Christmas.
Dang blurry monitor!! I'm praying Matt comes home, and soon. These people have endured enough, but are bearing up well. I believe God is Blessing them, since they are giving of themselves for others.

I am not aware that they need or are seeking donations for themselves. The article mentions the project they are involved in.
I think Bativia, Ohio is a small town and if you want to send a Christmas card or letter of support I am sure it would get to them by sending it to:
Keith & Carolyn Maupin
Batavia, Ohio 45103
I have pinged "MikeWUSAF" back to this thread, he lives there and may be able to confirm this.
Does Eastgate still have the 103 Zip or is it 245? Maybe cards and letters will get there easier if we send them to Eastgate Station? I was raised in Amelia and lived in Withamsville for a few years. My mom lives in Batavia right now.
I live in MS now but I lived in Clermont County my whole life. I graduated from Amelia but I actually went to WC Career Center.( Beauty school (BLUSH) ) My mom lives in Batavia now. If theres anything that I can do then please let me know.
According to an article I read some time back, the Batavia post office was receiving mail addressed to: "The parents of the boy captured in Iraq" and they were delivering it.
I managed to hold back tears until this post.....
