Actually, with almost all absentee votes in, Bush's percentage is down to 50.73%, and his popular vote victory margin is a bit over 3 million votes:

George W. Bush 62,040,237 50.73%
John F. Kerry 59,027,612 48.27%

Ronald Reagan's final share of the popular vote in 1980: 50.8%

George W. Bush final share of the popular vote in 2004: 50.8%

And it all comes full-circle :)
