I believe Fox's tracking poll was the only one that had Kerry beating Bush this time. They are even worse then Zogby.

WHO THE HECK IS JEB BUSH? - some guy from the Beverly Hillbillies? (sarcasm)

I don't know why they do these polls. Yesterday they said that Hillary would trounce Senator Frist for President.

When one candidate who was either a first lady or a presidential candidate is pitted against someone relatively unknown outside of his (her) state, the unknown ALWAYS loses.

But neither candidate is unknown on election day, these polls are TOTALLY meaningless.

I'm now starting to think that they're being done to try to discourage top-tier Republicans from running. This is embarrassing.

I was listening on the radio and there was a story about how much people donated to what party. I believe something like 60% of fox news people donated to democrats.

These fluff polls are to unite the hard core and keep them from running off to join other parties.

(seriously the Green party should be recruiting overtime)

I think nominating any of these guys would be a mistake. Frist has been a lackluster SMJ and is not very charismatic. Pataki is a RINO. Jeb's last name is Bush and that's not gonna play a third time over.

We know that McCain and Rudy would beat Kerry or Hillary, but we don't HAVE to nominate one of them to do so. There are plenty of other similar candidates who don't have McCain's disloyalty problems nor Rudy's social liberalism. Mitt Romney is one. Tim Pawlenty is another. The list is quite long actually.
