All of the networks were so glee at the beginning of their broadcasts and were already imagining a Kerry presidency. They probably had much more impact than the blogs.

This is the real scandal.

A newly formed organization will soon begin airing ads stating that President Bush “dodged his own military duty during Vietnam.” Called Texans for Truth, the group has ties to the liberal organization MoveOn.org.

This is sure to hurt G.W. Bush in 2008.

Look for a concerted attempt by politicians (encouraged by lobbyists and MSM interests) to try to pass regulatory legislation against certain Internet areas before the next presidential election.

After what happened to Dan Rather and John Kerry, the Liberals can't allow the Internet to continue be unfettered. Surprisingly, some of the torchbearers will probably include some legislators from the Party Currently in Power.

Look for Senator Hatch, for example, to issue another idiocy of blowing up computers. Look for Hillary Clinton to reiterate that the Internet needs a gatekeeper. Look for more legislators to 'suggest' gatekeepers and regulations in the coming years.

The Internet is dangerous to politicians' advancement and careers.

We have better fact checking on Free Republic than on all of the MSM.
I found an Internet site that had Information that fit right in with my ideas.
The only problem was the information was made up.
By the third reply some great poster had showed that this information was a hoax with URL to prove it was a hoax.

Well, in case you missed our last episode, retired CBS News stegosaurus Eric Engberg in November reemerged from the Jurassic Period to suggest to the unwitting populace that bloggers were responsible for the unmasking of the attempt of the so-called press to manipulate opinion by premature predictions of exit polls on Election Day.

There.
I fixed it.

But that's only part of the story. I realized this morning why the left absolutely hates blogs. It's like garlic and mirrors to a vampire. The are helpless to fight it.
The "progressives 'big' weapon" is gone. The are totally ineffective when the opposition is allowed to express differences of opinion without interruption! It came to me slowly, that they feel like the exclusive "power" that they have enjoyed for so long should not be wasted on the unwashed.

Tough noogies. Deal with it!

True.

Remember, also that a FReeper figured out that the central US pipebomber was making a huge smiley face. And within moments after his arrest and name being release, FR had his bio, his musical group, and his pix linked, long before the MSM did.

I love this line, about the stegosaurus.

But I'm disturbed that even this piece doesn't repeat what should be repeated every time these exit polls are mentioned:

There was a conspiracy between the Democratic Party and the exit poll takers to rush Democratic Voters to the sites of exit polls in a blatant effort to illegally affect the outcome of the election.

MSM is running about two days behind, and they get it many times wrong (good for RATs). I quit watching news on TV, it is like history channel :-)
They will sloooowly fade into oblivion.

You are correct. It was the MSM that sponsored and reported the supposed exit poll trend toward Kerry. The polls were inaccurate, and the MSM was taken in by its own misinformation. Can they admit error or outright collusion or bias? Noooooo, its always someone else's fault when they shoot themselves in the foot, over and over and over.

They should blame Al Gore. His invention has backfired on them.
