Thank You for your donation, AggieCPA! A very good start.

Also, should someone decide to donate directly to a foreign USO chapter, they all appear to be APO addresses. as I understand it, these only require regular US postage. if I am mistaken, someone please correct me.

You are correct. Letters to APO's only require 1st class US postage rates.
Packages are different. They require package rates to either the east coast(Atlantic) or west coast(Pacific). Hope this helps.

And APO AP addresses with eith 96XXX or 962XX are for the Korea area. Mine in Seoul is APO AP 96205 for example.
APO represents the city and AP represents the state(a little trivia)
