Okay, obviously it is really important to you that I agree with you and I feel bad that you are more worked up about my assessment of the situation than you are about the actual situation.

So here you go.

YOU WIN. They should SUE the school system and get lots and lots of money. If it hurts all the other kids, and the tax payers, and the school, too bad. At least they got some $money$ out of it! There. Are you happy now?

No I really want to understand the mindset of a person that would allow this kind of thing to continue. This kneejerk anti litigation mindset intrigues me. When your kids life has been possibly destroyed by a teachers action and a school's improper supervision and or inaction I consider that real damage. It won't change until they get hit in the pocketbook.
