Aaron Mohanlal is charged with 37 counts of lewd and lascivious Homosexual behavior involving a 15-year-old boy, who recently told his parents about the alleged abuse.

Officials say the abuse started at the end of the alleged victim's seventh-grade year and lasted some 18 months.

So this could have been going on since the boy was 13. If the homo lobby succeeds in lowering the age of consent laws this guy could get off Scott free under those circumstances.

Their 1972 platform at the state level, item 7 states:

Repeal of all laws governing the age of sexual consent.

The 1987, 1993 and 2000 platforms removed this item from their platform, but added hate crime, right to marry, adoption and youth issues (think GLSEN). Fortunately, I believe there is still too much of a backlash from any attempt to lower the age of consent laws.
