We know you just want to win the war on terror, and we all do. But each human being on the planet has to make his own decision as to how to participate in this conflict. You do so in your own way, which I respect. I do not doubt that your resolve is true. But the Pope has his own way. We may not always agree with him, but he has been and continues to be effective at raising up world wide value for life and freedom. I'm grateful for what he has done, and I'm sure you will be able to appreciate it as well, once you've given him a second chance. I don't believe that he has said we should not have brought down Saddam Hussein from power in Iraq, by the way. Please re-read what he has said and post it here if you can prove me wrong. Also, I do not believe that he has sided with the PLO as you suggested above. He sides with humanity, and I also do not believe that he has said anything suggestive of abolishing the Jewish state of Israel, either. Please quote him here if you can prove that. What he may fail to do is take stands that are as stringent as you would prefer. I do not consider myself a peacemaker, but Christ did say "blessed are they."
